Due to staff leave, our reception desk will be temporarily closed from 15 to 29 October 2026.

Our team will continue to operate as usual and remain available by phone and email. In-person appointments remain available during this period. As always, please call ahead to arrange an appointment before attending our office.

Five tips for purchasers this holiday season (scroll)

1. Line up your lawyer, banker and building inspector before the holidays.
2. Get pre-approval for your loan now and check how long your lender will need to finalise your approval once you have signed a contract.
3. Make sure clauses don't fall due over the holidays.
4. Factor in any time that you will be away without access to email/a printer/a post office. Tasmania doesn't have electronic conveyancing yet, so there will be paperwork to sign and return if you're getting a mortgage.
5. Be realistic with the settlement date. If you are relying on finance and you haven't already signed a contract, there is almost no chance of a pre-Christmas settlement (sorry!)
