Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF)

From 1 July 2026, Australian law firms must comply with new anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CTF) laws when providing conveyancing services.

Please complete this form to help us meet our obligations.

We may need to request further information from you following submission of your form.

We may stop providing services to you if you refuse to provide the information we request, or we decide you are not within our risk appetite.

It is an offence under sections 137 and 140 of the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (AML/CTF Act) to:

  • provide false or misleading information in this form or documents you provide to us
  • receive conveyancing services from us using a false name or anonymously.

What this means for you

For matters commenced on or after 1 July 2026:

  • Completing this form does not mean we have accepted your matter yet.
  • We must complete customer due diligence and a risk assessment before deciding whether we can act.
  • We will confirm in writing if we are able to act.
  • Until then, we cannot provide legal advice, review your contract or contact other parties on your behalf.
